Convert Files Free
One of the best things about working on a Mac has always been the ability to read PC files in spite of some pretty nasty piggy-backing malicious macros. There are all kinds of file types that can’t be read unless you have the program they were created in; or know someone who does. Unfortunately, not all equipment can read all platforms. There are so many file types being exchanged, downloaded and replayed, it would be handy if everybody could convert them quickly and easily, especially with video and music files. Well, now you can and free of charge. Convert those music files and save some money.
So compliments of Eric Peterson over at Experts-Exchange here’s an excellent site that everybody can use to convert files up to 100mgs—this includes all those hysterically funny videos available online at YouTube and MySpace. And if you decided to change mp3 players or switch to the iPod (or throw your Zune out the window because you’re tired of music files that expire), convert those music files that you paid for before they do and save them somewhere else besides on your looney Zune. This is the site and below is a list of file types that can be converted.

bmp, gif, ico, jpg, pcx, png, tga, wbmp, and wmf
