Don't Bite Your Nails!
What with the Lindsay Lohan's controversial nail polish message during her recent court appearance, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the art/design of this practice. Not that all nail polishing habits have to contain the F-word, there are a lot of ways that women, and men, choose to design their nail polishing works of art.
It seems that the one-color nail polish of old has made way to the multi-color and intricate images that folks now design. It looks like a lot of thought and detail go into some of this art. Some may be press-on nails, but the majority of them seems to be done by hand, just like a painting. Some even look like paintings, complete with faces and other images on them.
Some are extreme and some nails are pretty long. I don't know how some of these people work with them, but I guess they learn how do drive a car, type on a computer, and do "other things".
So girls, and guys, the next time you decide to paint the ends of your digits, think about the art involved and maybe give some portraiture a try. Just don't use the F-word like Lohan.
Great post! I wear a long nails and I always make and art of them. With them, even the F-word looks nice! ;)
Nice Work on such tiny portion of nail but the last one looks horrible. Sorry to say this but it doesn’t go well with the body and I don't think so that this fashion will ever be followed.
