The Last Scan - Whew!
Hey, everybody! I know I've been boring you with the esoteric scannable items from my treasure trove and thought I'd bore you one more time. This last batch of scans really have no rhyme or reason, they're just sort of fun and downright weird.
I came across an old image of the Paul Revere logo and business card that I may have covered a while back. I was thinking at that time that this was one of the first examples of business card design in America. Who knows? I like it anyway.

Speaking of calling cards and addresses, how about this address I found for Ronald McDonald?
Then there's the Popsicle® people. There's a surprise in each box of these frozen treats, from temporary tattoos to the Popsicle® Superhero. Kids of all ages love this kind of stuff - at least I do.
So, last but not least, is the Buddha-type family image (Shiva, Parvati, and baby Ganesha) I came across one day. I think it was on a postcard. I thought it was cool and interesting, so here it is for you: I think that's enough of this. I guess the whole point of this "series" of scannable items from my archives is that art (and inspiration for other art) can come from many different places. Found art is always a good place to start to get these ideas. So, the next time you're walking around town, picking through the garbage, or just opening your junk mail, take a moment to see the possibilities out there to enhance the craft. What do you all save? Do you have an archive of items that you like and scanned? It would be great to hear from you...Hello? Anybody there?
