Validation Tactics

In this dog-eat-dog world of creativity and design, there may be times when we throw our hands up in the air and ask, Why? or Do I really know what the hell I'm doing? Well, at least I do. It is really hard sometimes to get a pat on the back or some other sort of validation in the professional world, especially when you're freelancing. Sometimes we simply have to get our clients to say something nice about us.

There is a great exhibit in town right now (San Francisco, that is) that will appeal to the font nerd in all of us. FontShop has brought it's visual feast, Fifteen: 15 Years of Type for Independent Minds, to the gallery in the AIGA SF office.

The logo for the 2012 Olympic Games in London has been released and, boy, what a stir it has caused among the Brits. It seems as though some English feathers have been ruffled over this one...
